Ph.D in Business Administration & Management
The PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) or a doctorate in Business Administration & Management aims at providing in-depth knowledge and expertise to students in the field of management. A PhD programme is pursued in two phases- the Foundation Phase and Research phase.
The Foundation Phase is the first year of the PhD programme; on completion of which students need to submit a research synopsis. Once their research synopsis is approved by the institute they are registered for Doctoral Research work Phase which is of minimum two years duration. The PhD degree is awarded on presentation and approval of the final thesis.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to pursue PhD in Business Administration & Management a candidate must hold a Master's Degree in Management or any other stream; or any other professional qualification which is considered equivalent to a Master’s Degree. Some institutes may even ask for a minimum post qualification work experience to apply for this course.
