B.Ed. is a professional qualification that prepares learners to occupy the profile of a teacher in schools. All those aspirants who wish to pursue their career in teaching field, enrolls for B.Ed. University of Jammu came into existence in the year 1969. It is accredited as A Grade University by National Assessment & Accreditation Council of India.  There are total 74 colleges of education working under the flagship of University of Jammu. These colleges offer M.Ed. and B.Ed. Courses.
